WHAT IS YOGA?

Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word Yuj, meaning ‘to yoke’, ‘to join’ or ‘to bind together.’ It also means ’union’ or ‘connection.’ The main idea is that through yoga practice and the syncing of the breath with movement, we are uniting the mind, the body & the spirit; the  lower self with the higher self; the self with the divine.

There are many categories and styles of yoga, all of which help to facilitate a deeper awareness and connection with yourself and life itself.
